Subjects, Levels and Tuition Plans

Mobirise

I offer tuition in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science from Year 8 to GCSE level covering all English examination boards.

I also offer tuition in Computer Science at A level and Pure and Applied Mathematics (I do not teach statistics) covering all English examination boards.

I have considerable experience providing tuition in  a remote environment; I managed a team of developers at M&G Investments who were located in Ireland. A combination of good communication skills and screen sharing is essential when providing tuition and guidance remotely.

My working hours are as follows:

Mon-Sat 10am - 8pm
Sun            11am - 6pm

I charge £35 / hour for tuition sessions; for marking and the creation of specific student work sheets and also parental reports I charge £20 / hour.

Initial Consultation

An initial consultation is conducted via a Zoom call with the parents / student or just parents; a decision I leave up to the parents (No Charge)

Tuition Plan

Should the parents wish to pursue with tuition we discuss and arrive at a tuition plan depending on what the student's needs are.

Types of Tuition Plans

I teach 2 basic types of tuition plan, a broad continual one which essentially covers the whole curriculum. The other type of plan is where a student has specific requirements within a certain subject in the curriculum. Examples of this typically are topics like Algebra, Calculus, Basic Programming sills etc.

Work Sheets, Marking and Reports

I can also prepare specific test sheets should a student need them together with marking. I can also compile reports should a parent request one. The cost of these items is a reduced hourly rate of £20 as opposed to the tuition rate of £35.
